Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on October 14, Kevin Sneader, President of Goldman Sachs Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan), stated that driven by factors such as investments in AI infrastructure, Goldman Sachs has seen strong growth momentum in its businesses in Japan, India, and China. Sneader pointed out that the North Asia region has particularly benefited from capital expenditures related to artificial intelligence. He noted that Goldman Sachs observed an approximately 60% overall market performance growth among 42 AI-enabled companies listed on Indian stock exchanges, which contrasts with the view that India is at a disadvantage due to the lack of its own large language models. Sneader stated, "India has what we call AI-enabled companies." He further added that 42% of India's agricultural sector has the potential to apply AI technologies, indicating significant long-term development opportunities. Last year, Goldman Sachs opened an office in Mumbai. (Jin10)
