On April 2nd, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the rule change application for listing multi cryptocurrency commodity trust options on the US board of the New York Stock Exchange. Each encrypted asset held by the trust must meet high liquidity standards, including an average daily market value of at least $700 million over the past 12 months, and derivative contracts must have a comprehensive monitoring and sharing agreement with the trading platform. Trust shares must meet the initial and ongoing listing standards for ETF options on the trading platform and belong to NMS stocks. The SEC believes that this rule change can improve market efficiency.
