Trump claims Iran has no bargaining chips and believes it will return to the negotiating table

On April 12th, Trump stated in an interview with FOX News that he had written that "the entire Iranian civilization will perish tonight and can no longer be undone," believing that this prompted Iranians to come to the negotiating table. He claimed that he could take over Iran within a day and destroy its energy and power plants within an hour, but he was unwilling to do so because Iran may not be able to rebuild for ten years or even forever. He believes Iran will return to the negotiating table and points out that it is unwise for Iran to seek nuclear weapons without any bargaining chips.
