Apple App Store removes counterfeit Ledger Live app

According to Finance Feeds, Apple has taken down a fraudulent app that impersonated the Ledger Live self hosted wallet from the App Store, following on chain investigations showing over 50 victims losing a total of $9.5 million in cryptocurrency within a week. According to blockchain detective ZachXBT, the application was launched between April 7th and April 13th, 2026, with losses involving multiple blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and Ripple.
