Federal Reserve data shows growth in US commercial paper size

According to data released by the Federal Reserve on Thursday local time, the size of US commercial paper increased during the week ending April 15th. The seasonally adjusted commercial paper balance increased by $51.1 billion to $1.41 trillion, while the non seasonally adjusted balance increased by $26.6 billion to $1.44 trillion. The balance of commercial paper of foreign financial institutions increased by 10.2 billion to 361.8 billion US dollars before the quarterly adjustment.
