Iran's Revolutionary Guard announces closure of the Strait of Hormuz

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed, and any passage through the waterway will face "severe measures" prohibiting all ships traveling to and from ports of hostile allies and supporters of the United States and Israel from passing through or heading to any destination.
