Odaily Planet Daily reported that the Russian backed hacker group "Dark Storm" claimed responsibility for the distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack that recently caused a large-scale shutdown of the X platform. According to information released by the cybersecurity organization SpyoSecure on the X platform on March 10th, Dark Storm claimed to have carried out the attack on its Telegram channel. The channel was subsequently deleted for violating the platform's terms of service. Social media personality Ed Krassenstein also stated that he had contacted the leaders of Dark Storm, who confirmed this claim and stated that the attack was intended to demonstrate their strength and had no political motive. Elon Musk, the owner of X platform, confirmed that the platform was attacked on March 10th, causing some users to be unable to access it, but user functions were quickly restored. He stated in an interview with Fox Business Channel that the attack originated from IP addresses in the Ukrainian region. In addition, Tesla's recent stock price decline may be related to the protests sparked by the government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) spending cuts led by Musk.
