Vice Governor of the People's Bank of China, Xuan Changneng, stated that by 2025, the number of cases convicted of money laundering under Article 191 of the Criminal Law in China will exceed 2000. The People's Bank of China will strengthen its crackdown on professional money laundering, virtual currency money laundering, and cross-border money laundering activities.
