German tokenization protocol Midas launches tokenized US Treasury mTBILL on Algorand

According to Cointelegraph, the German tokenization protocol Midas has launched its first tokenized US Treasury bond mTBILL on the Algorand blockchain, completing $2 million in native USDC on May 27th. This product is anchored to short-term US Treasury ETFs, with a current net return of 4.06% and no minimum investment threshold, making it more suitable for retail investors than the $5 million minimum investment threshold of BlackRock BUIDL Fund. The Algorand Foundation has announced that mTBILL will be integrated into its DeFi ecosystem in the coming weeks.
