Hong Kong Cyberport: Over HKD 3.7 billion in start-up financing in the past year, with a cumulative total financing exceeding HKD 41.2 billion

According to a report by Hong Kong media Dongwang, Hong Kong Cyberport disclosed data showing that its community start-up company successfully raised over HKD 3.7 billion in funding in the year ending September 2024, an increase of 23% year-on-year. Recently, Cyberport companies that have completed high financing include KLOOK, Leapstack, Buy&Ship, MediConCen, DeBox, etc., with a total financing amount exceeding HKD 41.2 billion. In addition, HashKey Group, the second licensed virtual asset trading platform in Hong Kong, has become the eighth unicorn enterprise in Cyberport, reflecting the potential application of Web3.0 technology to attract investor support and the continued effectiveness of Cyberport in promoting the development of the Web3.0 industry.
Hong Kong Cyberport announced that the Cyber Venture Capital Forum and CVCF Cyberport Venture Capital Forum are scheduled to be held from October 24th to 25th. The forum will focus on discussing how emerging technologies such as Web 3.0 and AI can help startups and investors break through boundaries.
