The new office will be established by the end of this year. In addition, OpenAI is also collaborating with AI Singapore, the Association for Artificial Intelligence in Singapore. OpenAI stated in a statement that Singapore is one of the countries with the highest per capita use of ChatGPT. Earlier this year, OpenAI opened its first Asian office in Tokyo, Japan, providing customized GPT-4 models for Japanese speaking clients. Singapore is now the Asian hub of several major American Internet companies, including Google and Meta Platforms.
