Senator Tim Scott, a senior member of the Senate Banking Committee, issued a statement expressing opposition to the upcoming Biden administration candidate nomination review on December 11th. He believes that the Democratic Party's last-minute push for President Biden's candidate nomination, including the re-election of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) commissioner Caroline Crenshaw, is a clear attempt to obstruct President Trump's agenda. Scott stressed that the American people had already expressed their attitude towards the economic agenda in the election on November 6 and called for the cessation of relevant rule making activities. Earlier this morning, it was reported that the CEO of Coinbase called for the dismissal of SEC Commissioner Crenshaw, claiming that he had obstructed Bitcoin ETFs.
