A Russian citizen has been arrested in Argentina on suspicion of cryptocurrency money laundering

According to DL News, TRM Labs disclosed that Argentine law enforcement agencies had arrested a Russian citizen who was involved in a multi million dollar money laundering operation. The 29 year old suspect accepted the cryptocurrency interests of illegal actors, including the hacker group Lazarus Group. In addition, the suspect also used Telegram robot to exchange rubles, USDT, euros and dollars into Argentine pesos. During the arrest, the police seized cryptocurrencies worth more than 120000 dollars and seized another 15 million dollars from the property controlled by the suspect.
