Riot Platforms sells 1080 BTC for Rockdale land development

Riot Platforms announced the sale of 1080 bitcoins, with the proceeds of approximately $96 million used to purchase the Rockdale plot for the development of a data center project. In addition, Riot Platforms has signed a data center leasing and service agreement with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) to deploy 25 megawatts of critical IT load capacity in the Rockdale campus. The initial deployment will be carried out in stages and is planned to begin in January 2026 and be completed by May 2026.
