[Lab Proves Key Quantum Computing Conjecture in Three Days Using AI] According to Jinse Finance, the Physical Superintelligence Laboratory (PSI) announced that it has found a proof for the Aronson-Ambarnie conjecture in quantum computing within three days using a previously unpublished Anthropic model. This conjecture, proposed in 2008, has remained unresolved, concerning the conditions under which quantum computers can significantly outperform traditional computers. PSI has published the paper and proof code, stating that the proof has passed the tests of the mathematical proof aid Lean. Stanford University scholars who have previously studied this problem have read the proof and provided feedback, but the results still await further independent review by the academic community. The system used in this research was developed by PSI technician David Turturean, ran on the lab's own infrastructure, and utilized the previously unpublished Anthropic model.
