The cost of "trust" is high, which is why one of Satoshi Nakamoto's original intentions in creating Bitcoin was to solve the "trust problem."
Trust is mutual. I can trust Bitcoin, I can trust Ethereum, but can I trust an ALT token and the team behind it?
This is the biggest doubt that remains in everyone's mind.
As @NeoSoulAI tweeted: Trust in today's market is exhausted; exchanges, VCs, project teams, communities... everyone is waiting for someone else to believe first.
So they decided to take the first step, deciding to take the risk and link the team's right to economic benefits with the project's performance.
This attempt differs from other projects that use a fixed-schedule unlocking method for their tokens, hoping to gain the "trust" of others, including the community.
Will this succeed? Nobody knows.
Success requires "right time, right place, and right people," but it's undeniably a courageous attempt; someone has to take the first step.
Hope is neither something that inherently exists nor something that inherently doesn't exist. This is just like a path on the ground; originally there was no path, but as more people walk on it, it becomes a path...
