🐋 WHALE WATCH : Japan, South Korea and Taiwan have entered bear market territory after a sharp sell off in tech and AI stocks. Taiwan entered the drawdown as the most expensive market in the September CAPE rankings at 46.7x a 30% premium to the US. Its CAPE climbed 19 points in a year and sat 2.2 points from an all time high. The current CAPE rankings: => Taiwan 46.7 => US 35.9 => Japan 35.4 => South Korea 31.8 => India 28.7 => Canada 27.1 => Spain 24.4 => Netherlands 24.1 => Switzerland 23.2 => Germany 22.9 · Sweden 21.8 => Singapore 21.1 => Italy 20.9 => Poland 20.3 => Australia 20.1 CAPE measures stock prices against 10 years of inflation adjusted earnings. High CAPE historically points to weaker long term returns not an imminent crash. Expensive markets can still rally in the near term. The selloff brought valuations down. The question is how far they needed to fall. Which markets are you betting on ?
