[Three Malaysian Banks Experience Service Issues on the Same Day] According to Lianhe Zaobao, Bank Nasional (BSN), Bank Islam, and Bank Rakyat experienced service problems on November 6th, affecting interbank withdrawals, mobile applications, and website access, raising concerns about a possible cyberattack on the banking systems. Specifically, BSN experienced difficulties with interbank withdrawals via MEPS due to high ATM transaction volume; Bank Islam's mobile application had compatibility issues with Android 17; and Bank Rakyat's website was temporarily inaccessible. Currently, there is no evidence that the three banks were subjected to a cyberattack, or confirmation that these anomalies are interconnected.
