Wu has learned that Keplr, a Cosmos ecosystem wallet, released a security incident update stating that a Web3Auth infrastructure vulnerability led to the leakage of private keys for some Keplr users who logged in via Google or Apple. Accounts created using mnemonic phrases or hardware wallets were unaffected. Keplr is assisting Web3Auth in protecting the assets of affected users, but processing staking and locking assets will take longer. The official statement indicated that the reduction or depletion of balances in some social login accounts may be related to the asset protection measures. Keplr advises users who logged in via Google or Apple not to transfer new funds to their original accounts and to transfer any remaining transferable assets to their mnemonic phrase or hardware wallet accounts as soon as possible. Both parties are currently developing tools to help users confirm whether their accounts have been affected. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/keprl-confirms-that-some-user-private-keys-have-been-leaked-and-is-working-with-web3auth-to-protect-assets-71549
