I don't know why, but people who trade US stocks always seem to have a strange psychological advantage over those who trade Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies. Some people who buy US stocks always like to criticize cryptocurrencies to show their superiority. This includes, but is not limited to: CRCL believers, AI enthusiasts, chip enthusiasts, Ma Huateng followers, QQQ Maxi, and large-cap junk cryptocurrency enthusiasts. I also trade US stocks, and I'm even more professional than most US stock traders, but I've never had this sense of superiority, nor do I flaunt or show off my holdings in any US companies. What I see is the various shortcomings of the US stock market infrastructure and the various pitfalls of the US stock market system. In short, as I understand it: US stocks are a trading instrument with unlimited issuance, limited price ceilings, performance risks, overnight risks, significant single-point failure risks, strict KYC/AML restrictions, and limited global circulation, but with relatively good liquidity. If your favorite TSLA SPCX crashed, would you believe it would drop 70% overnight? Do you think I don't know how troublesome KYC/AML procedures are with US stock brokers like IBKR? Transferring even a small amount of money requires explaining the source like a dog. You're glued to the Fed's president's speeches, more attentive than your own father. Do you really think you're living with dignity? But what about cryptocurrencies? At least compared to Bitcoin: there's a cap on the supply, no performance restrictions, no single point of failure, no KYC, global circulation, and excellent liquidity. Other cryptocurrencies/stablecoins also have advantages far exceeding those of US stocks. Would you dare deposit tens of millions of USDT into AAVE? Would you dare put it in IB? Are you kidding? If you'd made a fortune in US stocks, you could brag to me. But you've all lost a fortune, and you're still looking down on cryptocurrencies. So, I really don't understand. Where do these condescending thoughts of US stock enthusiasts come from?
