In the past few days, GPT has inexplicably banned many accounts. Specifically, logging in results in the message "You do not have an account because it has been deleted or deactivated." The reason for the bans is unclear. It's unknown whether this is related to the announcement by Cat Wu, product manager of Claude Code and Cowork, that he is leaving Anthropic to join OpenAI. What I fear most is sudden bans. It's incredibly troublesome to suddenly have an account that I've used for three years blocked. All my previous work and memories are on that account; my long-term interaction with AI is invaluable, and it's all gone. Furthermore, when encountering such incidents, all I can do is appeal, and the success rate of appeals is extremely low. I feel this is somewhat of an AI hegemony. It's like how society in the real world takes away our most precious things at will.
