[Micron Says SCAs Are Non-Cancellable, GE Vernova Shows No Order Cancellations] Golden Finance reported on November 7th that the X account @aleabitoreddit (Serenity) posted an article citing transcripts from the earnings calls of the two companies regarding recent statements about the binding nature of long-term memory agreements and SoftBank's turbine order default. The article quoted Micron's Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer, Sumit Sadana, as saying that historical Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) had a term of only 12 months and no binding clauses, while new Strategic Customer Agreements (SCAs) are mostly 5 years, covering until 2030, and are binding take-or-pay contracts with no contract exit clauses for customers. In response to a question from Morgan Stanley analyst David Arcaro about whether there were financing difficulties, cancellations, or slowdowns in turbine orders, GE Vernova CEO Scott Strazik replied "no," stating that cash terms remained unchanged and customers' balance sheets were strong.
