[Gnosis Pay's Private Label Card System Suffers Data Breach, Some Customer Information Leaked, Funds Unaffected] Foresight News reports that Gnosis Pay tweeted that its monitoring system discovered unauthorized access to the system supporting its private label cards (B2C business) on November 3rd, resulting in the leakage of some customer information. User funds were not affected. The team began handling the situation within two hours of discovery, replacing affected security credentials and fixing the vulnerability. The enterprise platforms supporting all white-label card projects were unaffected. Gnosis Pay stated that it has sent emails to all affected customers informing them of the specific breach details and has notified partners, relevant data protection agencies, and card issuers. Before shutting down the B2C system on December 20th, Gnosis Pay will strengthen monitoring of card activity and wallets and mandate 3D Secure verification for all online card payments. Gnosis Pay reminds users that it will never request mnemonic phrases, private keys, PIN codes, or full card numbers, nor will it ask users to transfer funds via email, SMS, or phone.
