According to Wu, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stated on November 6th that a delegation led by Jihan Wu, founder, chairman, and CEO of Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer (NASDAQ: BTDR), visited Malaysia, expressing the company's willingness to further expand its investment in the country. Bitdeer is refining its long-term investment plan, aiming to further develop its AI infrastructure. The Malaysian government will facilitate these strategic investments and require the company to create high-value jobs and technical training opportunities. Bitdeer has been continuously expanding its AI data center footprint in Malaysia in recent years. In October, it announced a 67 MW data center service agreement for the A901 project, with full capacity delivery planned for the second quarter of 2027. The company has also previously deployed several AI data center projects in Johor and other locations.
