[Analyst: Stronger-than-expected Non-Farm Payrolls Data Would Support Rate Hike Stance] Golden Finance reported on November 6th that analyst Curran wrote, "What changes in today's data would be needed to shift the Fed's focus of discussion? If the data is stronger than expected, it will support a rate hike stance and reinforce the view that inflation remains the primary concern, so this wouldn't be surprising. However, if the data is significantly weaker than expected, the situation will be different, especially if data from previous months has been revised downwards. This doesn't mean the rate hike discussion is over, but it will undoubtedly change the tone of the policy debate."
