The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the healthcare industry added 42,000 jobs in October, up from the 12-month average of 31,000 new jobs per month. Of these, 16,000 were added in hospitals, 11,000 in home healthcare services, and 5,000 in outpatient care centers.
