The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the transportation and warehousing industry added 25,000 jobs in October, primarily driven by 17,000 new jobs in the express delivery and courier services sector and 4,000 new jobs in the air transport sector. Since hitting a recent low in February, the industry has added a total of 104,000 jobs, with express delivery and courier services contributing the majority of the increase, adding 71,000.
