According to Russia's TASS news agency, the Russian Investigative Committee has proposed further integrating crypto assets into the anti-money laundering regulatory system and strengthening the tracking of cryptocurrency transactions. At a meeting of the Intergovernmental Working Group on Asset Recovery under the UN Convention against Corruption in Vienna, Austria, Anna Starzhinskaya, a representative of the Russian Investigative Committee, stated that investigators can currently track cryptocurrency transactions and obtain crucial evidence for criminal investigations through the dedicated system of the Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring). The Russian Investigative Committee also emphasized the importance of cross-border crime investigations and international judicial cooperation. The agency disclosed that in 2026, it had, in conjunction with financial intelligence and law enforcement agencies, seized and confiscated corruption-related assets worth over $486 million and made approximately 2,500 information inquiries to financial monitoring agencies in criminal cases. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/russian-investigative-committee-proposes-include-crypto-in-aml-regime-71475
