[Singapore-based Symatics Unveils AI Chip Architecture MPU] According to a report by Jinse Finance on November 6th, Tech in Asia, Singaporean semiconductor startup Symatics unveiled its Morphic Processing Unit (MPU) architecture at the 2026 Business & Philanthropy Forum. The architecture aims to improve AI response speed by optimizing data organization and processing. Symatics stated that the architecture employs row-column parallel processing and a compiler-planned execution mechanism to reduce data transfer between memory and computing units. It is designed for interactive AI and inference tasks and plans to collaborate with Singaporean research institutions and industry partners through an open architecture and licensing model. The MPU is still in the R&D stage, with technology verification underway. Funding, prototype chip development, and tape-out progress have not been disclosed.
