[Kaia Public Delegation Staking Users Need to Manually Migrate to the New Contract; Withdrawals Available from November 17th] According to Foresight News, as Kaia transitions to a permissionless network, existing KAIA staked in the public delegation needs to be migrated to the new staking contract. Staked KAIA will not migrate automatically; users must manually withdraw it from the existing contract and deposit it back into the new contract. The migration process involves applying for withdrawal, waiting 7 days, withdrawing, and then depositing it back into the new staking contract. Submitting a withdrawal application does not constitute a completed migration. Kaia will release detailed usage guidelines on November 13th. The Kaia Portal will open the migration menu and accept withdrawal applications on November 17th, and withdrawals and re-deposits will be available from November 26th. The migration menu will guide users to migrate to the new staking contract corresponding to their currently delegated GC. This transition also includes deploying the new staking contract and executing a network hard fork. CR Mission 1 participants who complete the migration according to the above timeline will have their KAIA staking contribution recognition remain unchanged.
