[Cyberspace Administration Cracks Down on AI-Powered Impersonation of Public Figures] According to Jinse Finance, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) announced on November 6th that it has been cracking down on the use of AI technology to impersonate well-known public figures for fake product promotions, attract followers, and mislead netizens. The CAC has urged websites and platforms to conduct a concentrated crackdown, strictly investigating and punishing illegal and irregular information and accounts. A total of over 47,000 pieces of illegal and irregular information have been removed, and 3,961 accounts have been dealt with.
