[Report: Same Gang Steals Approximately $4.16 Million from 430 iPhone Wallets Since Mid-October] According to a Bitquery research report, multiple iPhone users have experienced wallet theft since mid-October. The investigation reveals that the same gang, using a common fee wallet, stole at least 4.06 million USDT from 365 wallets on TRON; and emptied another 65 wallets on eight other chains, including Ethereum and BNB Chain, resulting in losses exceeding $103,000. The report indicates that after obtaining the private keys, the attackers first transferred a small amount of TRX to the victims as transaction fees, and then transferred all the funds. Currently, there is no evidence that applications such as Trust Wallet themselves have vulnerabilities; the main risk is that hacking tools on iPhones (such as DarkSword) can steal mnemonic phrases. The report recommends that users update their iOS devices promptly and never save their mnemonic phrases in photos or notes on their phones.
