[Institution: Falling French Bond Prices Present Short-Term Buying Opportunities, But Long-Term Risks Remain] According to a report by Jinse Finance on November 6th, John Sidavi, portfolio manager at Federated Hermes, stated that the recent sell-off in French government bonds, with prices falling significantly and crowded positions being cleared to some extent, has created some opportunities for short-term entry. Sidavi stated, "This may present some selective tactical investment opportunities, but cheaper prices do not necessarily mean more attractive assets." Federated Hermes remains cautious about the structural outlook for the French market, believing that the country's deep-seated problems remain unresolved. In contrast, other parts of Europe are more well protected. Sidavi pointed out, "Despite improved valuations, the core challenges facing France remain unchanged, including a large fiscal deficit, increasing debt burden, continued political resistance to reforms, and the risk that rising borrowing costs could further erode public finances."
