[The crucial non-farm payrolls report is coming tonight: Expected to show typical characteristics of "weak incremental growth but overall stability"]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the US will release its October non-farm payrolls data at 9:30 PM Beijing time on Friday. With the recent pullback in large-cap tech stocks like Nvidia (NVDA.O) and rising market risk aversion, investors are turning their attention entirely to this report. As a key indicator for observing economic momentum, this month's data is expected to show typical characteristics of "weak incremental growth but overall stability."
According to the consensus forecasts of major market institutions, October's non-farm payrolls are expected to increase by approximately 59,000 to 65,000, a slight increase from the initial figure of 29,000 in September, but still at a level rarely seen in recent years. The CME Group's FedWatch Tool shows that traders' expectations for a continued rate hike in December have fallen from 82.7% the previous day to 69.1%. If there are no major surprises in tonight's non-farm payrolls report, the weak balance in the labor market will continue to keep the Fed's policy game uncertain.
