AI has unexpectedly made its way into the clothing industry. RWAI just announced the completion of an $8 million funding round, with investors including UOB Fund (a subsidiary of Singapore's United Overseas Bank) and Amber, a well-known market maker in the industry.
What they aim to do is allow users to tell their ideas for clothing to AI, and the entire process—from design and pricing to factory matching, production, and shipping—is handled seamlessly.
Creators or studios no longer need to visit factories or contact clothing stores individually to create merchandise.
Furthermore, it has created tokenized goods that support on-chain stablecoin payments. This allows studios to commission custom-made clothing and simultaneously sell it on the blockchain. Some items are already listed on the website.
The company has also confirmed a community airdrop and will disclose more funding details in the future.
