🚨$17 BILLION hedge fund restructures as mystery seller auctions $500 MILLION in data-center loans. Walleye Capital is cutting its equities leadership and investment teams and preparing to return investor capital after losing 5.9% in October, its worst month since March 2020. Bloomberg previously reported an anonymous seller auctioning $500 MILLION in data-center loans. Now speculations are rising that this could very well be Walleye. It's loan portfolio includes $25 MILLION tied to the New Mexico Stargate project, where Oracle reportedly issued a force majeure notice seeking relief from contractual obligations. If confirmed, the link would raise fresh concerns that the AI selloff is spilling beyond stocks into the private debt financing the buildout. The auction will test how much buyers are willing to pay.
