[Google Antigravity Major Overhaul: Voice-Controlled AI, Cloud Agents Continue Running Even When Powered Off] Beating AI News: Google has showcased a brand-new interface for Antigravity. The v2.29.0 update, released on November 3rd, brings several new features, including real-time voice commands, cloud-based agents, and an upgraded built-in browser. The most noticeable change is the addition of Voice Mode, powered by Gemini Live. Similar to ChatGPT, this real-time voice mode allows users to directly converse with the AI, instructing it to modify code and perform tasks. Users can also interrupt the AI's work, add requests, and even approve or reject operations via voice. Another important update is Remote Agents. Users can delegate tasks to Google Cloud, connecting to GitHub repositories and Google Drive files. The agents continue working even when the computer is powered off. Other updates include: a redesigned Home and Automations pages for centralized management of scheduled, persistent, and paused automation tasks; a built-in browser with added download management and browsing history; support for directly viewing Jupyter Notebook files; a new dark theme by default; and open interface settings such as fonts and keyboard shortcuts. Currently, Voice and Remote Agents are being rolled out gradually. Cloud Agents are only available to individual Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Voice is for local sessions with the Antigravity App and CLI, and does not yet support cloud Agent sessions. [Original Link]
