[Gate Stocks Launches Margin Trading Functionality] According to an official announcement, Gate.com has launched margin trading functionality for its stock platform, supporting margin buying and short selling. Users can borrow USDT to increase their stock purchase funds, or borrow eligible stocks to sell for short selling or hedging purposes. Currently, this functionality is available through the Gate web client; the app will support it in version v8.43.0 and above. The Gate.com stock trading page now features a margin trading icon and displays information such as supported stock options, margin requirements, available margin buying and short selling limits, and reference interest rates for short selling. Order confirmation, order placement, and position pages will also display relevant transaction details. Stock accounts also support margin debt management, interest accrual record inquiries, USDT fund transfers, and automatic repayment.
