[Paraguayan President Peña Submits Resignation Amid Ueno Bank Crisis] According to TechFlow, on November 6th, The Defiant reported that Paraguayan President Santiago Peña submitted his resignation on November 5th amid the Ueno Bank crisis. The House of Representatives passed an impeachment request against him with 78 votes and sent it to the Senate; the parliamentary disclosure was the formal submission of the resignation, not a completion of the presidential power transfer.
The Central Bank of Paraguay stated that the first batch of deposit guarantee payouts will be made to depositors with balances not exceeding 10 million Paraguayan Guarani, no debt to Ueno, and accounts held in other local banks or financial companies. Eligible depositors can receive a full refund. Previously, after Ueno was taken over, some Bybit sellers quoted USDT at approximately 13% higher than the official USD reference exchange rate; this figure was the order price, not the actual transaction price.
