[Tempo Launches Credit Service, Bolivian Users Can Borrow Uncollateralized USDT] According to a report by The Defiant on November 6th, payment blockchain Tempo has launched a credit service connecting businesses with third-party lending institutions to provide financing for business operations and customer loans. Eligible Bolivian El Dorado wallet users can now obtain USDT loans without locking up crypto assets as collateral.
The report indicates that Tala is responsible for providing funds, vetting borrowers, and assuming credit risk, while El Dorado provides the wallet and customer relationships; loan disbursement and repayment are all conducted through the Tempo network. Third-party lending institutions independently determine pricing and financing terms; Tempo itself does not provide loan funds.
