Oracle Cloud requires registration under certain conditions, making it one of the most popular free services. Advantages: Permanently free, supports up to 4 instances (4 cores, 24GB RAM), plus 10TB of traffic per month. This configuration would easily cost several thousand yuan a year elsewhere. How do I successfully register? Below is my personal registration example 1⃣ Preparation before registration You will need: Email (preferably a domestic email address), Visa credit card, computer, mobile phone, address, and home broadband network. ps: Your mobile phone and email address must not have been registered before. 2⃣ Environment confirmation before starting 1. Computer environment: Confirm that your country, time zone, and display language are consistent. 2. Browser: Confirm that your browser is in incognito mode. 3. Network environment: Very important. Ideally, use your home broadband network, not public Wi-Fi, company Wi-Fi, etc. And absolutely do not use a VPN! Absolutely do not use a VPN! Absolutely do not use a VPN! (Important things said three times!) 3⃣ Start registration Open the free Oracle Cloud registration link in China: https://www.(oracle.com)/cn/cloud/free/ Account information: Country, first name, last name, email address. Fill in all information accurately. Use pinyin for first name and last name. Complete account information: After email verification, continue to complete the information. Alternative name: Enter your full name in pinyin here, with the same capitalization as the name above. Then enter your password. The password must be at least eight characters long and contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character. This password will be used to log in to the Oracle backend. The login username is the email address you registered earlier. Select "Individual" for the customer type. Cloud Account Name: Similar to your username, a combination of letters and numbers. Write it down; you'll need it for login after successful registration. Home Region: I chose Osaka, Japan. I haven't tried the US region, but it should work. Address Information: Fill in your address, city, province, and postal code with your real information, matching your credit card billing address. You can put all the address information on one line; other address fields can be left blank. You can use Pinyin throughout, but remember to separate each character with spaces; don't write a continuous string of characters without any spacing. Mobile Verification: Use your real mobile phone for verification. Credit Card Verification: Next comes the most crucial step in registration: adding a payment verification method. Click "Add Payment Verification Method," then click the "Credit Card" button. In the payment information section, select your credit card type. I used a VISA card. Enter the card number, expiry date, and security code. Click the "Finish" button, then click the "Close" button to close the window and return to the previous "Add Payment Verification Method" page. Your credit card will be charged SGD 1.38. This is Oracle's pre-authorization verification and will be refunded later. If the charge is successful, you are 90% complete. Confirm the agreement and submit: Check the service agreement. Now it's time to witness the magic! Click "Start My Free Trial." When you see this blue running track, congratulations, your registration is successful. If you see error messages A, B, or C, it means the registration failed. Don't be discouraged; try again later. Don't submit too frequently, or you will be flagged. If it fails, don't rush to keep trying. Carefully check each step to ensure it's genuine; Oracle wants a real user.
