[Loopscale: Protocol Activity Suspended After Continuous Attack; Affected Vaults Fully Replenished]
According to Foresight News, Solana's on-chain lending protocol, Loopscale, disclosed that it suffered a continuous attack over the past week, with its API receiving more than 30,000 malicious requests daily. After the security system detected an escalation of the attack, the team suspended protocol activity. The attack targeted the SOL and USDC Genesis vaults. The funding shortfall in the affected vaults has been fully replenished, and user deposits have not been lost. The specific amount affected was not disclosed.
Loopscale stated that it will resume normal operations after fully investigating the scope of the attack and completing further security hardening. It plans to reopen the protocol interface in the near future and restore repayment functionality as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of accidental liquidation. Currently, the team is cooperating with federal law enforcement agencies and security professionals.
