Wu has learned that ZetaChain has launched an on-chain governance vote, proposing to permanently stop its Layer 1 network from producing blocks on December 9th and migrate its native ZETA to Solana at a 1:1 ratio, converting it into SPL tokens. The proposal also plans to launch ZetaLabs, a privacy AI application for the financial market, simultaneously, using ZETA for AI service payments, feature unlocking, and product governance. Furthermore, the project plans to burn approximately 55 million ZETA tokens originally intended for validator rewards in batches throughout 2027.
