Gate's official website shows that as of 08:00 (UTC+8) on November 4th, the platform's cold storage coverage is 104.58%, with cold storage and hot wallet assets accounting for 88.26% and 11.74% respectively. According to the corresponding statistical methods, even if all hot wallet assets are lost, cold storage can still cover all user assets. This data is currently being verified by an independent third-party auditing firm, and the report will be published on the official website upon completion. Gate stated that it launched its open-source Proof of Reserves (PoR) solution in 2020 and has since continuously strengthened mechanisms such as cold and hot wallet separation, multi-signature, multi-party secure computation (MPC), and dynamic risk monitoring.
