CZ cited a post by security researcher Anurag stating that a website impersonating Trust Wallet tricked users into connecting to crypto wallets under the pretext of reviewing transfers. Its scripts supported Trust Wallet, Phantom, and OKX wallets, scanning wallet balances and preparing to transfer funds to a fixed address; the transaction signing function was disabled at the time.
