Yesterday, after seeing the Democrats win both houses of Congress, I immediately increased my short positions in oil. Unfortunately, my previous funding rates were too high. Although I'm currently showing a paper profit, the funding rates still result in a loss. Thankfully, I weathered the storm. Currently, oil prices haven't fallen further, but with the Democrats in power, the pace might accelerate somewhat. However, we still need to see Iran's attitude, and Trump is still president; it won't be easy for the Democrats to bypass him. My strategy for oil going forward remains to short on rallies, but I'll increase my positions more slowly. I'll only increase my short positions further if there's a significant drop or further positive news from negotiations. Furthermore, my plan this time is to take profits as soon as the funding rates rise. @Gate, for more market insights.
