According to a report by The Washington Post citing court records, former FBI agent Patrick Yaroch is accused of abusing his position to obtain classified case files not assigned to him and acquiring the passphrase for a cryptocurrency wallet belonging to an unnamed rival country, transferring approximately $1 million to his personal account. Yaroch has agreed to plead guilty and is scheduled to appear at a plea agreement hearing on Thursday; the agreement still requires judge approval. Prosecutors allege that he used ChatGPT to plan his relocation to Portugal, but the cryptocurrency in question was not used. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/former-fbi-agent-pleads-guilty-over-1m-crypto-theft-71362
