Abstract! On-chain beggars line up to leave messages for Binance hackers: "Help me bro" A group of strangers are begging for Bitcoin from the Binance hackers on the blockchain. According to a previous CoinDesk report, they transferred less than $1 worth of Bitcoin to 19 wallets where the hackers stored approximately 18,270 stolen Bitcoins, each transaction accompanied by a message asking for alms. The most persistent one transferred about 1000 satoshis to each wallet in three rounds, spending about $46 in total, just to leave a "Help me bro" message. Others, instead of begging, became money laundering consultants. One provided a fake THORChain exchange website, urging the hackers to quickly exchange their Bitcoin, not to return the money to CZ (the Chinese cryptocurrency community), and not to accept white-hat protocols. A Turkish cryptocurrency blogger even took the opportunity to advertise, saying that the money donated by the hackers would be used to develop his token, NST. The hackers didn't reply to any of the messages, and the Bitcoins remained untouched. However, their money laundering on other blockchains continued. According to Lookonchain's monitoring on November 3, hackers are distributing the stolen SOL to multiple wallets, and then exchanging it for Bitcoin through USDC and ETH.
