[CoreWeave Bonds Plunge to New Lows as Democratic Victory Over Texas Data Center Prospects] Golden Finance reports that CoreWeave bonds plunged on Wednesday, with some prices hitting new lows, as several Democratic candidates advocating a slowdown in data center construction won gubernatorial elections, including in Texas. Trace pricing data shows that the AI cloud computing provider's unsecured bonds maturing in 2031 performed worst among high-yield bond issuers on Wednesday, trading as low as 79.5% of face value. Its bonds maturing in 2030 and 2032 also fell, currently hovering around levels widely considered financially distressed, with yields exceeding 15%. CoreWeave is one of the companies likely to be affected by Texas policies. Gina Hinojosa defeated incumbent Governor Greg Abbott to become the first Democratic governor of the "Lone Star State" in over 30 years. She has repeatedly called for an immediate halt to data center development.
