The next wave of opportunities for AI agents may lie in an overlooked aspect! Binance has launched its Agentic Wallet, and OKX has begun supporting AI Agents to earn money by taking orders. Payment, trading, and order taking are all maturing, but what if two AIs do business together, and one pays but the other fails to deliver as required? Who will judge right and wrong? @GenLayer, which I've been following, is trying to solve this problem. It aims to build a decentralized adjudication system for the future AI Agent economy. Simply put, it allows different AI models to form a "jury" to jointly judge transaction disputes. The entire process roughly consists of three steps: ① Understanding Evidence: Smart contracts can read real-world data such as web pages and contracts to determine whether delivery conforms to the agreement. ② AI Jury: Multiple AI validators independently analyze the data and decide the verdict through a consensus mechanism. ③ On-Chain Adjudication: If someone disagrees, they can file an appeal, and the final result is recorded on the blockchain. The cost aspect is also quite interesting. According to the cases shown on GenLayer's official website, the adjudication cost for some disputes is only 0.85 to 1.45. The process, involving US dollars, is expected to be completed within tens of minutes. It's important to understand that many small disputes are simply not worth the expense of litigation. If the cost of adjudication can be reduced to this level in the future, its application potential is considerable. The project background is also impressive. The development team behind GenLayer has raised a total of $11.2 million in funding, with investors including North Island Ventures and Maelstrom, a subsidiary of Arthur Hayes. Currently, ecosystem projects such as Internet Court and Rally are under construction. Personally, I'm quite optimistic about the AI Agent track. Currently, x402 is solving payment issues, ERC-8004 is exploring identity and trust, and A2A is promoting collaboration between intelligent agents. The adjudication process, which GenLayer focuses on, may also be a big business in the future and is worth continued attention.
